Tuesday 25 November 2025 Act of Kindness - Shoebox Appeal We are continuing our commitment to Character Education and our core values: Kindness • Honesty • Respect. This year's Act of Kindness is all about giving back to those in need. What's happening? Each form group will create shoebox gifts for two amazing charities: Hothouse and Samaritan's Purse. How can you help? Please donate whatever you can from the following list of items to help each form group create as many shoeboxes as possible: Toothbrush, flannels, soap/shampoo Hairbrush/comb Crayons, pens, notebooks Cuddly toy, jigsaw puzzle, reading book Hat, scarf, gloves New deflated football, skipping rope Students should drop items off with their Form Tutor. Together, we can make a difference. Let's show what Aldridge School is all about!

The event transformed the sports hall into a bustling hub of conversation, with stalls from universities, colleges, training providers, and employers offering advice, guidance, and inspiration.
