Year 8 Explore the Science of Sport with Birmingham City University

In partnership with Birmingham City University, our Year 8 students were treated to an exciting and interactive science masterclass delivered by David Price from Science Made Simple.

The session, titled "The Science of Sport", brought science to life through engaging demonstrations focused on forces, reactions, and speed. Students had the opportunity to see real-world applications of scientific principles in action, deepening their understanding in a fun and memorable way.

The assembly was a huge hit with Year 8, who thoroughly enjoyed the experience and left inspired by the power of science in everyday life.
