Aldridge Students Enjoy Unforgettable Theatrical Experience of Dear Evan Hansen
A group of students from Aldridge School had the incredible opportunity to attend a performance of the acclaimed musical “Dear Evan Hansen” at the Alexandra Theatre in Birmingham.
Dear Evan Hansen, a powerful production exploring themes of identity, mental health, and connection, resonated deeply with our students, sparking meaningful discussions after the show.
To top off an already memorable afternoon, students had the exciting opportunity to meet the actor who played Evan Hansen, the show’s lead character. They even had a photograph taken with him; an unforgettable moment that added a personal touch to an already moving theatrical experience.
S George, Year 10 student, shared, “It was such an emotional and inspiring show. Getting to meet the actor who played Evan made it feel even more real!”
L Humphries, Year 9 student added, “The music and story were so powerful. I didn’t expect it to affect me as much as it did. Seeing it live was amazing, and meeting one of the cast was the perfect end to the afternoon!”
