Aldridge School Students Shine with Jorja Smith and Blue Lights Choir

Aldridge School’s talented ex-pupil and music scholar, Jorja Smith, delivered an unforgettable performance at The Halls in Wolverhampton on Saturday night, playing to a sold-out crowd. A special highlight of the evening was when the Blue Lights choir joined her on stage to sing several songs together.

Jorja established the Blue Lights choir three years ago with the help of our talented music teacher, Mrs Gardner, as part of her foundation’s mission to give back to the community, believing this initiative would be a wonderful way to make a positive impact.

Among the choir members performing alongside Jorja were some current students from Aldridge School — a proud moment for all involved. The Blue Lights choir has become a vibrant space for young people to come together, share their talents, build new friendships, and boost confidence through learning new musical skills.

This collaboration not only showcased incredible talent but also celebrated the power of community and creativity.
