Sample to Science Workshop

On Thursday 05th June, Make More provided Year 10 and 12 students with a medical workshop, Sample to Science.

Students had the opportunity to take part in a range of hands-on activities including taking fake blood from a fake arm, taking part in ‘stop the bleed’, using the microscope to analyse blood, take each other’s blood pressure and use the VR headsets to gain a completely different perspective of the human body.

Students gained a valuable insight into medicine and it helped to confirm many of their medical career aspirations. A fantastic experience for the students which they really enjoyed and valued.
